Charitable Work

Freemasonry includes charitable work carried out by donating to Charities both national & worldwide either to assist a charity in carrying out their work or when disaster strikes.
The Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) receives donations from Lodges, Chapters and other degrees in Freemasonry & distributes the monies received to Charities or by donation to International disasters.
They also re-distribute money to local charities nominated by a Lodge, Chapter or other degree.

On the change to being a West Kent Lodge the recipients are to date :-

West Kent Festival Appeal 2026.
Prostrate Cancer.
Demelza House.
Macmillan Cancer Support.
The Heart of Kent Hospice.
Alzheimers Society.

Like all Freemasons our members will continue their charitable work to support charities to the best of their abilities by donating money raised through donations & raffles plus funds raised at Ladies Nights for which the President (Master at the time) and his Lady choose their selected good cause/s.
